A huge iceberg called B-31 has broken off a glacier in Antarctica. It might be on course for shipping lanes. Scientists are tracking B-31's movement using satellite, radar and GPS data. Accurate iceberg trajectory models could prevent shipping disasters.

some icebergs are realy small and light so they will sink if something lands on them.

ICEBERGS ARE BREAKING OFF THE POLAR ICECAPS DRIFTING AWAY TO OTHER LOCATIONS CAUSING PROBLEMS IN THOSE REGIONS.

The iceberg you were tracking would most likely melt, much less causing a shipwreck. But it is important to monitor the environment.
