    Paracetamol, like a number of drugs, can cause death if an overdose is taken. Sometimes this is accidental, but sometimes, sadly, it’s a suicide.

    Thankfully, researchers have found that paracetamol-related deaths have fallen by 43% in 11 years. They suggest the reason is that in 1998 the maximum number of pills in a packet was reduced to 32. This made it harder to buy enough to cause harm.
