Climate change is one of the most difficult problems we face - and it's not often we hear good news about it. But today the presidents of China and the US have announced new plans to tackle climate change together. Great!

The US will aim to cut carbon emissions further by 2025, and China has pledged to ensure its emissions peak by 2030. The targets will be a challenge to meet, but I'm really happy to see the two biggest economies in the world work together to protect the future.

This seems like a joke. Of course they won't really do anything to change things. They're too governed by the business-as-usual approach. No one who wants to help will ever be given the power to do so.
