Break out the bikinis sunbathing has been sanctioned by scientists! Well, sort of.

recent study suggests ultraviolet rays in sunlight can help reduce blood pressure and the risk of heart attacks and strokes. When you factor in vitamin D production, the benefits of sun exposure within moderation seem to outweigh the risk of developing skin cancer.

Does this mean I can add one more activity to my (regrettably) short list of things that feel good as well as doing you good?

How do you feel about ultraviolet rays now?

More research will be needed to support the claim that sunbathing can reduce the risk of a heart attack.
