I like sugary foods a lot. But am I addicted to them?

Although sugar hasn't been proved to be addictive, a government adviser thinks it will be and we should tax it to help stop obesity.

If sugar really is addictive, will making sugary foods more expensive stop me gobbling up cake and fizzy drinks? I think not. Making healthier food more affordable would make it much easier for me to make positive choices.

The tax could be used in hospitals to treat obesity related diseases. Where else can the extra money come from?
