What on Earth would you like to see from space? I'd like to make observations that would be useful to people. This is exactly what satellite Sentinel-2a will do.

The Sentinel programme is all about seeing the world in different and useful ways. Sentinel-2a will watch the world's food crops to help us foresee bad harvests and possible famines. It'll do this by sending back pictures of Earth's surface in both visible and infrared light.

I think this data could have real benefits and wonder how the other Sentinels might help.

The Sentinel programme will launch other satellites that use visible and infrared cameras to study the land, sea and atmosphere.
