It's incredible how advanced robotic technology now is. A UK firm has created a robot that can walk, march and run for the army. It will let other companies create body armour that strikes a balance between protection and manoeuvrability.

It's impressive. But new weapons are continually being developed too. It seems futile in the long run. Will humanity always be trapped in an arms race, creating new offensive weapons and new ways to defend against them?
