Everyone loves robots - I personally dream of having a robot butler. So this new robot behaviour fascinates me.

Researchers have created a six-legged robot that learns to adapt and compensate if it breaks a leg - and it does it in under a minute. Robots are normally found in factories and safe environments, but these developments mean robots could adapt to the changing world outside the factory.

Adapatable robots have amazing potential. They could even saves human lives by venturing into disaster zones.
