I'm eager to try out the new Pokémon Go app when it's released in the UK.

The new version of the game has already had some negative coverage, after police said thieves had used the app's location systems to find potential victims.

But I think the most worrying problem is what is being done with all the data the app is collecting about its users. People are calling for the developers to make clear what they intend to do with players' locations, access to phone cameras and e-mail data.

I hope I get answers before the game is released here, so I can catch 'em all and still keep my data safe.

The game uses augmented reality to place characters in the real world, using your smartphone's camera and GPS.
