I'm lucky enough to be quite healthy. But when I'm really sick, it feels good to know someone is keeping an eye on me. Would I feel the same if I was monitored via a wearable patch?

The NHS is testing a wireless patch that tracks a patient's vital signs so nurses are warned if there's a problem. It's no substitute for good personal care, but it could help avoid preventable hospital deaths. Wearable technology like this excites me. How else might innovations like this make our lives better?
