As a gamer and science fan I think today's story is awesome...

Over 37,000 online game players have been listed as authors on a new study, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences in the US. Only ten of them are professional scientists.

They've all been playing EteRNA, a game that connects a virtual lab with a real one in California. It allows players to carry out real experiments remotely.

It's fun and productive - I'm already hooked!
