E-cigarettes are everywhere. And although they seem better than real cigarettes, I've been worried about how safe they really are.

Well, it seems this topic just got more heated. On 20 May, new EU-driven e-cig laws took effect. They include things such as limiting the amount of nicotine in each refill, making e-cigs child- and tamper-proof, and putting health warnings on packaging.

Most of the regulations seem positive, but I worry that extra restrictions could push people back to real cigarettes - and surely that's far worse than any risk vaping poses? The debate continues...

Vaping fluids are a danger to children - ingesting just small amounts can be lethal or require emergency care.
