I thought mind control was simply science fiction, but perhaps it's not so far-fetched.

The BBC has created an experimental version of its iPlayer that can be used with a brain-wave-reading headset. You can turn the iPlayer app on or off by relaxing your mind. It's got great potential to help people with disabilities who might have trouble using traditional remotes.

Some people found it easier to use than others, but I know I wouldn't mind giving it a go.
