I like hearing the sizzle of a good barbecue. I want a healthy body and brain long into old age, but new research makes me concerned about my Australian addiction to the barbie. It alludes to a risk of dementia from chemicals produced when meat is browned.

The study was done on mice, but also looked at patterns in elderly people. It's not conclusive. It makes me think - what can I change now to protect my future mental health?
