Congratulations to India for launching a spacecraft that will carry a satellite to Mars.

Some people think a country with so much poverty should prioritise its people instead of spending money on space exploration.

I think India's focus on science is positive. Hopefully, being at the forefront of space technology will have positive effects on the country's economy and education system. And that will lift the population out of poverty.

I THINK ITS GREAT THAT WE ARE TRYING TO FIND A CURE FOR CANCER .BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHAT TECHNOLOGY WE USE AND HOW WE USE IT. ALL FOR CANCER TREATMENT !!!!!!!!

India is spending so much money on other things... people are in poor and you would rather use money on something else!!????????

India should focus on their own people, rather than funding multi-million pound space missions that may or may not actually work anyway... a waste, if you ask me.

I love that India is really getting involved in the space race. Space technology they develop will one day help their economy. I look forward to having a Martian dosa one day, yummy! :)
