My mum ate loads of gherkins while she was pregnant with me. This research makes me wonder what effect that could have had on me...

A study suggests a woman's diet when she gets pregnant can change her baby's genes. The scientists don't know what the genes they looked at do, so can't be sure exactly how these changes could affect a baby's future.

My immediate thought is of the negative changes to genes, but they could be positive or have no effect on the baby at all.
