It seems that Professor Stephen Hawking and I both worry about the future of planet Earth. Today he warned that our world will almost certainly face disaster in the next few thousand years, possibly because of global warming or a nuclear war.

But it's not all doom and gloom. Professor Hawking thinks humanity can survive by establishing colonies on other planets. He thinks this might be possible within 100 years.

If we take action, I hope we can save our planet before we're forced to leave it behind.
