When the Fukushima nuclear power plant was damaged I was optimistic the radioactive contaminants could mostly be contained. A lot more leaked into the Pacific than was originally hoped.

Scientists have been tracking the radioactive pollution and the danger of it affecting other countries. The USA and Canada will be spared dangerous levels of radiation.

The hazards of nuclear power have been made clear by the disaster at Fukushima, but I still feel it has to be an important part of our energy generation mix.

Wow. This is going to teach us that even nuclear power is way better than any other sort, but sometimes, just to be safe, not to take the risk of radioactivity sweeping the area out of safe homes.
