I love to eat, but sometimes I don't know when to stop. Now scientists may have found a solution to my problem.

They've created an ingredient called IPE that's designed to make people feel fuller. Adding it to food could help people lose weight.

To reduce hunger it relies on a chemical called proprionate, which is produced in the gut naturally after we eat fibre. At the moment IPE tastes pretty awful, but the scientists are working on ways to make it more palatable. Maybe one day it will help me eat a bit less Christmas food!
