It's amazing to hear that the first British man infected with the Ebola virus has now fully recovered.

William Pooley is a volunteer nurse who has now been discharged from the Royal Free Hospital in London. He was treated with the experimental drug ZMapp. The drug - which has not yet been through human trials - involves an infusion of antibodies.

Although only six other patients have undergone this treatment, I'm glad it seems to be working - and I hope it will soon be available to help more people.
