My parents just wanted a happy, healthy baby. But what if they could have predicted my eye colour, or sprinting speed?

patent has been awarded for software that predicts children's traits based on their parents' genes. Critics warn it's a step towards ‘designing' babies. But the software just gives prospective parents a bit more information, so I think it's fine… as long as they take the test with a grain of salt babies are still unpredictable!
