I have a bit of a sweet tooth. New advice suggests I should resist my cravings for sugar or risk my health.

Government health advisers say the recommended sugar intake for an adult should half to 5% of the calories we eat. Sugar makes up 12% of the average adults diet and 15% of teens, so we need to make big changes to prevent obesity.

I'll make some effort, but with so much hidden sugar in processed foods, the food and drink industry is going to have to make major changes too.
