I'm completely reliant on my glasses or contact lenses to give me normal vision. But what if they could enhance my eyesight further?

A new contact-lens-and-glasses combo can give you telescopic vision. By changing the filter on the polarising glasses, you can see a zoomed-in version of the world around you.

The combo is aimed at people with macular degeneration, where you lose the ability to see fine detail. I'm sure I could have quite a lot of fun if I got my hands on a set.

The polarising glasses are very similar to the glasses needed for 3D TV.
