I thought we were improving our greenhouse gas levels - I was wrong.

Scientists are reporting a rapid surge in carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere. Between 2012 and 2013 the level of carbon dioxide grew at its fastest rate since 1984. Emissions played a role in the increase, but it also seems to be because our biosphere is absorbing less carbon dioxide. Scarily, scientists don't currently know why that might be.

We need to get our act together around greenhouse gas emissions.
