I love bubbles! They're colourful, cheerful and now... smelly?

SensaBubble makes soap bubbles that can deliver information. The bubbles are tracked with sensors and used like mini projector screens to display an image. The vapour inside them also has a scent that lingers in the air once the bubbles are popped. Researchers hope they could be an exciting new marketing tool that engages our sense of smell.

Will shopping centres soon be full of slogan-covered bubbles that smell like sausage rolls? Yuck - that's enough to put me off bubbles.

The scented fog in the bubbles allows images to be projected onto them.
