I can't wait for battery technology to improve. It would be a huge boon for everything from smartphones to electric cars or even my house.

A new flexible aluminium battery is making a buzz. It's fast to charge, made from cheap materials and is much better than previous similar designs. The downside? It still can't output as much energy as the lithium-ion batteries we rely on in modern devices.

It's exciting news, but I'm still waiting for batteries to make a big leap.

My phone battery gets used very quickly, so I would like a battery that kept going longer.
