I wish I'd had this when I was at school: the BBC's new pocket-size computer, which was sent out to schools last week. The Micro Bit lets students use coding to interact with the physical world, and comes with an accelerometer, compass and even Bluetooth.

Computers are now such a part of life and business that understanding coding is really important.

It almost makes me want to go back to school and learn more coding. I wonder what I'd have done with the Micro Bit?

What do you think of coding?

The Micro Bit is 18 times faster than the original BBC Micro from the 1980s.
