Today marks the end of the future - at least as far as I'm concerned. When Marty McFly visited the implausibly advanced, hoverboard-infested future in the 1989 film Back to the Future II, the date he arrived on was 21 October 2015.

Of all the future tech in the movie, I think the most accurate prediction was a news drone filming bad-boy Griff crashing into the town hall. In today's real world, drone pilots in the USA are facing tougher regulations - but reporters are arguing against them. Should we make this movie prediction an everyday reality and allow press drones to take photos?

Should the press use drones to take photos?

Unlike Doc Brown we don’t have time-travelling cars, but over 20 years after Back to the Future II, some of the things it predicted have appeared.
