Today marks the end of the future - at least as far as I'm concerned. When Marty McFly visited the implausibly advanced, hoverboard-infested future in the 1989 film Back to the Future II, the date he arrived on was 21 October 2015.
Of all the future tech in the movie, I think the most accurate prediction was a news drone filming bad-boy Griff crashing into the town hall. In today's real world, drone pilots in the USA are facing tougher regulations - but reporters are arguing against them. Should we make this movie prediction an everyday reality and allow press drones to take photos?
