Using mathematical models, scientists have estimated the life expectancy of people in 35 different countries.

South Korean women born in 2030 will have an average life span of 90 years. That's longer than the estimate for Japanese women, who currently have the highest life expectancy. The forecasts assume the world will continue to make gradual progress, but a major development such as a cancer vaccination could stretch lifetimes even further.

I think it's great that people are living longer, and hopefully in better health.
