I'm so busy, I'd love to 3D print a new version of myself and be in two places at once! So I was thrilled to read about how US scientists plan to create a tiny human mock-up on a microchip.

How? Miniature organ models are bioprinted onto a microchip and linked with a blood-like fluid. While this may not solve my time management problems, it's a fantastic way to test the effects of drugs, toxins and vaccines.

Learn more about bioprinted organs at Antenna's new exhibition 3D: printing the future, opening on 9 October 2013.
