Another migraine? How about a nice dose of Botox?

You’ll have heard of Botox as a regular celebrity treatment for wrinkles. Now it could be used by the NHS to treat migraines – a proposal approved by NICE in 2010.

Making Botox available on the NHS might help some of the estimated 700,000 people in the UK who suffer from intense headaches. The treatment is aimed people who get headaches on at least 15 days each month, and could seriously improve their quality of life.
