Looking after granny’s heart

  • July 25, 2012 | Pippa

Do you worry about your elderly relatives’ health? I do, and a new survey suggests more could be done to keep them healthy.

The study shows that a quarter of people in their late eighties have undiagnosed heart problems. Many could have simple treatments to help prevent heart failure and improve their quality of life.

The earlier a problem is identified the better, so I’m going to encourage my granny to go to her GP for a checkup.
