what if you’re cooking a meal that has a stronger scent than wasabi? why wasabi? why not somethimg malodourous like cheese (very strong)?

I BELIVE IT WOULD BE EPIC. BUT WHY WOULD YOU HAVE A WASBI SQUIRTING SMOKE ALARM? WHEN YOU BURN TOAST IT SOMETIMES SETS OF THE ALARM, SO WHY WOULD YOU JUST SEND WASBI TO WASTE
