Sugar shock

  • April 18, 2012 | Nicola

I like to start my morning with a tall glass of orange juice and usually have a few more throughout the day. But how healthy an option is it?

Researchers at Glasgow University warn that we may underestimate how much sugar we consume each day through soft drinks and fruit juices. High sugar intake can contribute to problems such as obesity and diabetes.

This hasn’t put me off my favourite drink, but I might swap it for a cool glass of water now and then!
